In
1972 Sims opened the Antique Mall at the Buchanan Exit
with C.B. Arnett. Two years later, he opened the Antique
Mall on 231 next to Cracker Barrel. Today, the Antique
Mall is known as Antiques I & II.
In
1980, Sims started an Auction Gallery in downtown Murfreesboro
called Estate Gallery. In 1984 he moved and combined
the Estate Gallery with the Antique Mall on 231.
The
Estate Gallery specialized in the sales of Early American
and English Furniture, silver, glass and collectibles.
While
Sims ran the Estate Gallery, he began his career in
real estate. His focus was on-site antique auctions
and residential real estate.
Sims
closed the doors on the Estate Gallery four years later
in 1988.
Now
in the real estate business for 29 years, Sims has expanded
his portfolio to include residential, land, commercial
real estate, as well as estate and antique auctions. |
